Krutarth Patel, Ph.D.

Krutarth Patel, Ph.D. has worked in a variety of roles in the field of data science and machine learning. From 2013-2015, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Space Applications Centre, ISRO. From 2015-2017, they were a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of North Texas. From 2019-2021, they were a PhD Intern - Machine Learning at Column, where they designed and developed machine learning algorithms and scrapers. Since 2021, they have been a Machine Learning Engineer at Ephesoft, Inc., where they have worked on generalized key-value extraction, nested/hierarchical OMR extraction, and keyphrase extraction. Currently, they are a Data Scientist at Alkymi.

Krutarth Patel, Ph.D. began their educational journey in 2010 when they earned their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University. Krutarth then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Texas, which they completed in 2017. Finally, Krutarth Patel, Ph.D. earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Kansas State University in 2021.
