Brent Spicer has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Brent started their career as the Head of Upper School at Saint Mary's Hall in 2013, where they served for eight years until 2021. In 2021, Spicer became an Independent Education and College Consultant at Bennett International Education Consultancy, where they provided expert guidance on college applications and scholarships. Simultaneously, they also founded their own company, Spicer Custom Academic Counseling, LLC, where they served as the Owner/Director. In this role, they focused on helping high school students choose the right college, create competitive applications, and secure scholarships. Recently, in 2023, Spicer took on the position of Head of Upper School at All Saints Academy.
Brent Spicer has an extensive education history. Brent first attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Arizona from 1997 to 1999, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in American Indian/Native American Studies. Later on, they attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2007 to 2008, where they earned a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership.
