Joni Black

Joni Black has worked in the Human Resources field for over 25 years. Joni began their career in 1995 at BCS Financial Corporation, where they held roles as HR Vice President, HR Manager, and HR Administrator over a span of 16 years. In 2013, they joined Saint Xavier University as a Human Resources Director, HR Consultant, and HR Business Partner. In 2014, they were promoted to HR Director, where they directed employee recruitment, engagement, and staff retention initiatives while supervising the HR team. In 2017, they joined All Truck Transportation Co., Inc. as Human Resources Director, where they enhance organizational goals and strategies by acquiring, training, motivating, and deploying talent effectively. Joni also fosters a culture of continual learning by overseeing training and development programs and enriches the employee experience with retention-driven programs.

Joni Black holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management from DePaul University, an Associate of Arts in Hospitality Management from The Art Institutes, and is currently enrolled in a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
