Nick Smith

Nick Smith has several years of work experience in the television industry. Nick started their career in 2004 as a Television Producer specializing in development and tasks, working with the BBC team that developed the successful Strictly Come Dancing format. Nick then moved into format distribution and rose to the level of producer before transitioning to All3Media International in 2007.

At All3Media International, Nick held various roles, including VP Format Sales, SVP International Format Production, EVP Formats, and currently serving as the EVP Formats & Licensing. In their current role, they manage the A3MI format consultancy service, approves format bibles, liaises with format owners on international potential, and puts together roll-out strategies for new formats, among other responsibilities. Their work focuses on monitoring the quality of international versions of A3MI formats and incorporating changes and improvements into the format bible.

Nick Smith received a BA degree in Broadcasting from the University of Leeds.
