Kevin Lafontaine

Kevin Lafontaine is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as the Director of Large Scale Drug Substance Manufacturing at Allakos Inc since December 2020. Previously, at Boehringer Ingelheim from September 2013 to December 2020, Kevin held the position of Associate Director of Process Engineering, managing a team focused on technology transfer into GMP facilities, and also worked as a Process Engineer. Prior experience includes roles at Perseid Therapeutics as Senior Associate Scientist, Biogen Idec as Associate Scientist III, Tanox, Inc. as Manufacturing Associate II, and a Research Assistant position at San Diego State University. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University, which was completed in 2004.
