Alejandra Enciso Medina

Trustee at Allan Hancock College

Appointed as the Area 3 trustee on June 15, 2021, Alejandra Enciso Medina currently works as a lead bilingual reproductive health and life skills educator for the nonprofit CommUnify of Santa Barbara County. Medina has served as a board member for the Future Leaders of America (FLA) and Danza Azteca Coaxochitl, and serves as a volunteer educator for H.O.P.E. Santa Maria. Medina was born in Santa Maria and raised in Guadalupe. She is a first-generation Latinx-American and a first-generation college graduate. Medina graduated from Allan Hancock College with an associate degree in liberal arts and received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from California State University Northridge (CSUN). Medina’s lifelong goal is to educate others about her culture and advocate for equality and justice.
