Sami Chowdhury

Sami Chowdhury has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cloud and platform engineering. Sami is currently serving as the Head of Cloud and Platform Engineering at Allane Mobility Group since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Linux/UNIX/Cloud Engineer at BrandMaker from 2016 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for planning and implementing digital cloud transformations for customers, providing technical consultation on AWS cloud integration, and managing the DevOPS culture transformation.

Before joining BrandMaker, Sami worked as a Data Center Linux Engineer at Amazon Web Services from 2014 to 2015. In this role, they handled rack installation, EC2 & S3 instance installation and configuration, troubleshooting, and hardware replacement. Sami was also responsible for managing network hardware and remote access management.

Prior to that, Sami worked at Ubisoft as a Linux System Administrator from 2013 to 2014. Here, they were responsible for the proper daily operations of Linux systems and the deployment of new game versions.

Sami's career started at Grameenphone Ltd, Telenor Norway as a UNIX Specialist, Server Management from 2008 to 2012. In this role, they administered SUN servers and implemented and managed virtual computing environments using VMware and Solaris containers.

Sami initially started their career at MetroNet Bangladesh Limited as a UNIX Systems Administrator from 2005 to 2008. Here, they handled the administration of Linux and UNIX systems for the company.
