Martijn Pronk

Martijn Pronk is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital strategy and non-profit management. Currently serving as Treasurer on the Demera Foundation Board since March 2024, Pronk focuses on empowering students in Ethiopia through digital training initiatives. As Head of Digital at the Van Gogh Museum since January 2017, Pronk leads the digital team responsible for various products, services, and content creation. Additionally, Pronk holds the position of Treasurer on the Allard Pierson Foundation Supervisory Board, contributing to the promotion and support of the Allard Pierson Museum. Previous roles include advising on digital strategy for the National Library of Israel and serving on the Governing Board of Europeana. Pronk's past experiences also encompass jury membership for The Best Social Awards and leadership positions at the Rijksmuseum and Museum Rocket. Educational credentials include a law degree from the University of Groningen.
