Peter Thompson

Peter Thompson currently serves as Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at Allay Therapeutics, overseeing the development and manufacturing of a novel drug/device combination product. With extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, prior roles include Senior Vice President at Gritstone bio, where Peter led manufacturing and analytical development for personalized cancer vaccines, and Vice President at Aziyo Biologics, Inc., managing end-to-end operations for regenerative medicine products. Peter has also held significant positions at Genentech and Sanofi Pasteur, where achievements included leading large teams, driving innovation in manufacturing processes, and securing regulatory approvals. Peter holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and the University of Notre Dame, respectively, and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
