Clare Rippin

Director of Manufacturing at Allbirds

Clare Rippin is the current Director of Manufacturing at Allbirds. Clare has over ten years of experience in the apparel industry, specializing in product development, manufacturing, and licensing.

Clare started their career in 2010 as a Graduate Scheme Trainee at Harris Watson Holdings Limited. Clare then spent two years at Lyle & Scott as the Product Development & Licensing Manager for APP, FW, and EQ. In 2013, they took a Secondment as the Assistant Accounts Manager at Waterlinks Investments Limited in Hong Kong.

In 2017, Clare joined adidas as the Senior Manager Manufacturing Innovation. During their time there, they oversaw the company's manufacturing processes and implemented new technologies to improve efficiency. In 2019, they left adidas to join VF Corporation as the Senior Merchandise Manager. Clare was with VF Corporation until March 2021 when they assumed their current role at Allbirds.

Clare is a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for apparel manufacturing. Clare is constantly seeking out new ways to improve processes and increase efficiency. Under their leadership, Allbirds is sure to continue to produce high-quality products that meet the needs of their customers.

Clare Rippin graduated from Heriot-Watt University with an MSc in International Fashion Marketing. Prior to that, they completed a BDes Hons in Printed Textile Design from the University of Dundee.

They work with Alex Jenny - Associate Director of Sourcing & Operations Strategy, Halil Gursoy - Director of Supply Chain Operations. Their manager is Ahmad Zakaria, VP, Operations.
