Cara K. began their work experience in 2011 as an HR Assistant at The Academy Schools. Cara then transitioned to Pittsburgh Public Schools in 2013, where they worked as a Human Resources Professional until 2016. In 2017, Cara joined Allegheny County Airport Authority as a Human Resources Generalist, eventually moving up to Manager of HR Programs & Compliance. From 2021 to 2023, they served as a Manager of Human Resources before being promoted to their current role as Director of HR Business Processes.
Cara K. obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Resources Management & Technology from Carlow University. Cara then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Employment and Labor Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which they completed in 2015. In June 2019, they obtained a certification in SHRM-CP from the Society for Human Resource Management.
