Eric Gardner

Eric Gardner, MD MBA, currently serves as a Hospitalist Physician at Allegheny Health Network since January 2020, specializing in Internal Medicine and HemeOnc/BMT. In addition, Eric holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Drexel University, where responsibilities include leading Quality Improvement and Patient Safety initiatives as well as championing patient experience. Prior to this role, Eric worked as a Physician Advisor and Hospitalist Physician at UPMC from July 2008 to January 2020, in conjunction with a role as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Eric's early career included serving as a Physician at Noble Care Primary Care and as a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh. Educational credentials include an MBA focused on Healthcare from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, an MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and a BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Psychology from the University of Michigan. Eric is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
