Gerald Zachar

Gerald Zachar, MS, EP, is a Cardiac Rehabilitation Therapist at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center since May 2021, focusing on exercise prescriptions for Phase II cardiac and pulmonary patients. Previously, experience includes serving as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, where responsibilities involved working with Phase 1 and 2 cardiac rehab patients and conducting CardioPulmonary Exercise Testing. Additional roles encompass coaching and training positions, including a volunteer coach with Volo City Sports and an assistant basketball coach at Northwestern High School, as well as multiple internships in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation settings. Gerald holds a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Gannon University and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution.
