Jim Simpson has over 30 years of work experience in the crane and equipment industry. Jim began their career in 1983 as a Certified Millwright at American Standard. Jim then worked at Simmers Crane Design & Service as a Field Superintendent from 1998 to 2004. From 2004 to 2012, they served as the National Service Manager at P&J Arcomet. In 2012, they joined Terex Corporation as the Tower Crane Service Manager. Jim later joined Allegiance Crane & Equipment LLC, where they held various roles including Director of Tower & Hoists Operations and VP Towercrane Operations, starting in 2016.

Jim Simpson's education history begins with their graduation from Salem senior high in 1974, where they obtained their ASE Certified GM Autotech degree. Following that, they attended American Standard from 1983 to 1998 and obtained a certified millwright degree with a specialization in cranes.
