Michael Henson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in emergency medical services and communications management. Currently serving as a Full Time Regional EMD Senior Instructor at Priority Dispatch since June 2015, Michael provides instruction to public safety agencies across the United States. As the Communications Quality Assurance Manager at Allegiance Mobile Health since July 2018, Michael oversees the quality assurance program for multiple communications centers and guides the accreditation process. Previous roles include emergency preparedness support during the Covid-19 response at Williamson County and Cities Health District and technical operations at the Texas Division of Emergency Management. Michael's earlier experience encompasses managing quality assurance communications at Acadian Ambulance Service and working as a Communications Medic and Paramedic/Dispatcher. Educational qualifications include a degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University and Paramedic Certification from Texas Extension and Engineering - TEEX.
