Jai Nammalwar

Jai Nammalwar, CPA, has extensive experience in state tax compliance and controversy, currently serving as Manager at Allegion since February 2018. Nammalwar progressed through various roles at Allegion, starting as Accountant Indirect Tax and moving up to Senior Accountant and Manager. Prior to Allegion, Nammalwar worked as Tax Senior Staff at Crowe Horwath LLP and as a Senior in FSO Tax at Ernst & Young. Nammalwar began volunteering with VITA in early 2012 to assist low-income individuals with tax returns. Earlier career experience includes a role as Production/Accounting Coordinator at J's Laboratories, where responsibilities included managing accounts payable and inventory. Nammalwar holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a CPA designation, complemented by degrees from the University of Madras.
