Rakesha Bandara

Rakesha Bandara is a Graduate Design Engineer at Allegion, responsible for the mechanical engineering design of new product development and leveraging advanced engineering methodologies for innovative solutions since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Engineering Consultant at Practera, representing Swinburne University, and as a Mentor Leader and Student Peer Mentor at Swinburne University of Technology, where Rakesha organized networking events and supported students' transitions. Rakesha held the position of International Representative at the Swinburne Student Union, advocating for international students, and gained practical experience as an Assistant Engineer at Kruger Engineering PTE. Rakesha is a Golden Key Honorary Life Member, acknowledged for academic excellence in the top 15% of students globally, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology.
