Marcus Hillbom

Marcus Hillbom is a seasoned professional in technical marketing and business development with extensive experience in the materials technology sector. Currently serving as Business Development Manager and Technical Marketing Manager at Alleima since August 2022, Marcus previously held several roles at Sandvik Materials Technology, including Technical Marketing Manager and Technical Marketing and Inside Sales Manager, where responsibilities involved introducing new high-end grades to the market and expanding team capabilities. Earlier, Marcus worked as a Product Manager for turning products at AB Sandvik Coromant and as a Grade Development and Application Specialist, focusing on coated carbide solutions. With a foundation as a Production Engineer in drilling tools and an educator on CNC programming, Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Uppsala University.
