Kim Leiser has 17 years of experience working with microarrays and 16 years of experience in laboratory management. She earned her Masters of Health Policy and Administration from Washington State University.
Kim Leiser is currently the Director of Laboratory Operations at Allele Diagnostics. She is responsible for ensuring the clinical laboratory prioritizes patient care and provides clinicians with accurate, fast results and that all work is organized and handled in accordance with the protocol, quality assurance and safety policies. Kim is directly involved in clinical validation of all tests performed by the laboratory. She is also a critical team member for development of customer-facing materials including the website, test requisition forms, and informational documents.
Before joining the Allele Diagnostics team, Kim held various titles in the clinical laboratory at Signature Genomic Laboratories. Most recently, Kim was the Senior Manager of Laboratory Services where she had oversight of the clinical department. She has a total of nine years of experience in the microarray industry and eight years of experience in laboratory management.
Kim earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Mathematics at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and her Master's degree in Health Policy and Administration at Washington State University in Spokane, Washington.
As the Senior Manager of Laboratory Services, Kim led a team of thirty people to process thousands of genetic tests each year while continuously exceeding customer expectations. She helped lead the laboratory to implementation of over ten new test offerings and many new methods to improve the overall customer experience.
