Marcelo Morales

Marcelo Morales has 28 years of experience in business management of industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, and medical services, including 21 years in life sciences. He is also the founder of A4Ventures, a Washington-based life sciences firm working with early stage companies in the biotech, medical device, and high tech industries. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he received a Masters of Business Administration, and a graduate of McMaster University where he received a Bachelors of Science specializing in Biochemistry.

Marcelo Morales is the co-founder, president and CEO of Allele Diagnostics. Working with a dedicated and highly competent team, Marcelo led the creation of Allele Diagnostics with the intention of becoming a leader in the human genetics testing market. Marcelo oversees all functions of the company.

Prior to Allele Diagnostics, Marcelo was the Chief Executive Officer for Jubilant Hollister-Stier, an integrated life sciences organization focused on providing comprehensive manufacturing, drug development and product-based solutions to the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Prior to joining Jubilant Life Sciences, Marcelo was the Canadian Industry Segment Leader for the Life Sciences practice of Deloitte & Touche LP, and a member of their global Life Sciences leadership team, based in Toronto, Canada. In that role he specialized in developing and delivering strategic and operational business solutions for Global Health Care and Life Sciences organizations.

Marcelo is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he received a Masters of Business Administration, and a graduate of McMaster University where he received a Bachelors of Sciences specializing in Biochemistry.
