Kathy Allen

Kathy Allen has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Kathy started working as a volunteer for the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA) in 1972 and continued in that role until 1999. During this time, they also served as a board member for NACA. In 1999, Kathy became the President of Allen and Associates. In addition, they joined the International Leadership Association (ILA) in the same year and remained a member until 2012. Kathy served as a Co-Convener of the Leadership and Sustainability Member Community at ILA from 2018 to 2020. From 2004 to 2015, they worked as a consultant for the Blandin Foundation. Kathy also had consultancy roles with Neighborhood House and the University of Minnesota from 2007 to 2012. Kathy was a board member for the Leadership Learning Community from 2001 to 2007. Before all this, Kathy was an Associate Professor at the University of St. Thomas from 2001 to 2004. Overall, Kathy Allen has a strong background in leadership, consultancy, and academia, with a particular focus on sustainability and community development.

Kathy Allen attended the University of New Hampshire from 1970 to 1972, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services. Following this, Kathy pursued further education at the University of San Diego from 1987 to 1991. During this period, they obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree with a focus on Leadership.
