Joahn Kim

Joahn Kim has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Haerfest and later as a Social Media/Graphic Design Intern at Loyverse. In 2017, they became a UI/UX Designer at Rochester Institute of Technology where they conducted research and executed user research and surveys. From 2015 to 2019, Joahn worked as a Digital Printing | Student Manager at RIT Hub Express. They then joined Paychex in 2019 as a User Experience Designer I, where they provided user-driven design solutions and produced high-fidelity visual designs. In 2020, Joahn joined Academicly as a Product Designer, closely collaborating with various teams to support UX concepts and directions. They also contributed to the design culture through collaboration and presenting work. Following this, Joahn worked as a Product Designer at Carter Edwards & Company in early 2021 before landing their current role as a Product Designer at Allen & Gerritsen starting mid-2021.

Joahn Kim pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Media Photography at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2017. This was followed by a Master of Fine Arts - MFA in Visual Communication and Design, also at Rochester Institute of Technology, from 2017 to 2019.
