Peyton Lee

Peyton Lee is a Software Engineer at the Allen Institute since June 2023, specializing in front-end tools for data visualization using React and TypeScript. Prior experience includes roles as a Virtual Reality Software Engineer at HaptX Inc., where development of VR demo content for haptic gloves took place, and as an SDE Intern at Amazon Web Services, focusing on an automated testing framework in Python. Peyton also interned at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, working on deep-sea creature classification, and at foundry10, developing a virtual reality game titled Bycatch-22. Additional experience includes serving as an Ocean Science Intern for the Ocean Exploration Trust. Peyton holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences from the University of Washington, as well as a High School Diploma from Newport Senior High School.
