K. Erik Friess

K. Erik "Rick" Friess is a seasoned California trial attorney specializing in real estate litigation, with a focus on eminent domain, inverse condemnation, and valuation matters. Currently a partner at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP since March 2010, Friess previously served as a partner and practice group leader at Nossaman LLP from September 1990 to March 2010, where K. Erik "Rick" chaired the state-wide Eminent Domain and Valuation Practice Group. Friess began his legal career at Nossaman as a summer clerk in 1988 after receiving a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco and a BA in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego.
