Matthew Whittle

Matthew Whittle is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in disputes and investigations. Currently a Partner at Allens since November 2008, Matthew specializes in restructuring and insolvency, commercial litigation, and regulatory investigations. Previously, Matthew served as a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group at Clifford Chance in Tokyo from August 2005 to October 2008, and at Middletons Lawyers in Melbourne, particularly in the Commercial Litigation and Corporate Recovery Group from February 2002 to July 2005. Early career roles include a Solicitor position at Fisher Jeffries and serving as an Associate to Justice M. J. Nyland at the Supreme Court of South Australia. Matthew holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours in Law from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor Degree in Science with a major in Environmental Biology from the same institution.
