Steve Milner

Steve Milner is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in business integrity, investigations, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Principal Business Integrity Adviser at Santos Ltd since January 2025, Steve manages integrity and misconduct investigations across global operations and oversees the whistleblower hotline. Previously, Steve was a Senior Associate at Allens and has held roles such as Acting Global Head of Investigations at Rio Tinto, where responsibilities included managing the global investigations function. Additional experience includes serving as a Lawyer at Westpac and the Commonwealth Bank, where management of teams investigating internal fraud and misconduct was key. Steve’s earlier career includes significant roles at ASIC and various law firms, focusing on white collar crime and regulatory defense. Educational qualifications include a Jurisprudence degree from the University of Oxford and a Legal Practice Course from Leeds Beckett University.
