Amy Emerson

Amy Emerson is a Co-Managing Partner and Partner at Allensworth | Texas Construction Lawyers since February 2015, where specialization includes governmental immunity issues and representation in complex contract disputes, constitutional suits, bond-validation suits, and construction matters. Notable achievements include successfully defending a city’s zoning authority in the Texas Supreme Court and aiding in the acquisition of Texas's first reservoir permit in nearly three decades. Prior experience as an Associate at Lloyd Gosselink Rochelle & Townsend, P.C. from July 2007 to February 2015 involved litigation, water law, and employment law, with significant successes in bond validation suits related to zoning regulations. Amy Emerson holds a JD from The University of Texas School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Communication from Southwestern University.
