Dr. Emily Kleintop

Dr. Emily Kleintop is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Elementary Principal at Allentown School District since July 2024 and as an Adjunct Professor at Gwynedd Mercy University since July 2014. Previously, Dr. Kleintop held the position of Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Federal Programs for the Diocese of Allentown from October 2020 to July 2024 and worked as Principal at St. John Vianney Regional School - Allentown from September 2016 to October 2020. Earlier career roles include Special Programs Supervisor and Special Education Facilitator at Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit, as well as Special Education Teacher. Dr. Kleintop's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University, a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Literacy from Wilkes University, and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
