Anthonia Agbo has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical science and development. Anthonia began their career as a Biomedical Scientist at the Model Primary Health Center in Port Harcourt in 2014. After that, they worked as a Biomedical Scientist Intern at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, where they gained extensive experience in conducting laboratory tests and delivering seminars in various medical laboratory departments.
In 2019, Anthonia joined ABUJA CLINICS LTD as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, where they worked until 2020. Anthonia then pursued their MSc at Queen's University Belfast, serving as a Student Assistant from April 2021 to September 2021, and as an MSc Student from September 2020 to September 2021.
Anthonia continued to expand their experience in the medical field by working as a Medical Laboratory Assistant at the Royal Sussex County Hospital from September 2021 to December 2021. Anthonia then joined Ipsen as a Scientist 1 in January 2022, where they worked until January 2023.
Currently, Anthonia is working as a Development Scientist at Allergy Therapeutics since January 2023. Anthonia'swork experience demonstrates their expertise in laboratory testing, research, and scientific development.
Anthonia Agbo completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, General at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi between 2010 and 2014. In September 2019, they obtained a certification in ISO 13485:2016 - Quality Management Systems for Medical Devices from Alison - Free Online Learning. Recently, from 2020 to 2021, they pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Queen's University Belfast.
