Deborah Lackey Cfre

Deborah Lackey, CFRE has a rich and diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the development and advancement sector. Deborah began their career as the Executive Director Foundation at Lone Star Community College from 2001 to 2006. Deborah then served as the Development Director at Reasoning Mind from 2006 to 2007. Deborah went on to become the Vice President of Advancement at the Houston Zoo from 2007 to 2011. Deborah also held multiple roles at Memorial Hermann Foundation, including Associate Vice President from 2011 to 2017 and Senior Development Director from 2011 to 2015. From 2017 to 2018, Deborah served as the Chief Advancement Officer at Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. Currently, they are the Chief Development Officer at Alley Theatre, a position they have held since 2019.

Deborah Lackey, CFRE, began their education at Sacred Heart of Mary High School from 1965 to 1969. Following that, from 1969 to 1973, they attended Marquette University where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
