Florencia Herra Vega

Florencia Herra Vega is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as Partner and CTO at AlleyCorp and CEO of AlleyCorp Nord since October 2020, Florencia is instrumental in building the Montreal-based development team and supporting early-stage incubations. As Acting CTO at Mixo, responsibilities include spearheading engineering efforts and MVP development. In addition, Florencia contributes as an Advisor for Reside Health and serves as VP Conference for NorthSec, the largest applied security event in Canada. Previous roles include Director of Architecture & Platform and Software Development Manager at WorkJam, where strategic architectural guidelines were defined. Florencia co-founded Peerio Technologies, focusing on providing secure communication solutions, and held significant leadership roles in non-profit organizations. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Linguistics and Computer Science from McGill University.
