Nick Pamphilon

Nick studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Having previously worked in London, Mexico City and on projects in Doha, he joined AHMM in 2013. Nick was responsible for internal fit-out specification and coordination of The Bower phase 1, a retrofit project for Helical on Old Street roundabout. He was also one of the first team members to begin working on Soho Place for Derwent London in 2014, following construction of the Crossrail Station and acquisition of OSD development rights. More recently, he has been involved in several aspects of this uniquely complex and challenging project, during the design stage and during construction as a key member of the novated design team working with the contractor. Nick’s remit has included acting as project architect and technical lead for Site B (a new-build theatre and office); facade design; structure and services coordination; the management of interfaces with TfL assets; and delivery of the public realm and public art. Nick has taught at Southbank University, London Metropolitan University and Salford University, and at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He was promoted to Associate in 2022.
