Gretchen Rydin

Gretchen Rydin possesses extensive experience in social work and community engagement, currently serving as a City Councilwoman for the City of Littleton since November 2021 and as a Therapist with AllHealth Network since May 2019. Prior roles include Social Worker at Highlands Behavioral Health System and Social Work Intern with Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition, where Rydin conducted mental health assessments for detained immigrants. Additional experience includes providing intake services at Doorways for Women and Families, supporting asylum-seekers at Human Rights First, and facilitating group therapy at Catholic Charities DC. Earlier professional roles involve project management at Grantmakers for Effective Organizations and research support at Georgetown University, complemented by a Master's in Social Work from Howard University and a Bachelor's in History from Brigham Young University.
