David Tanner is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in control systems and process engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Control Systems Engineer at Alliance Automation since November 2018, David is integral to project scoping, design, engineering delivery, and business development, including estimation and tendering for major projects. Prior to this, David spent a decade at Rio Tinto, where roles included Specialist in Advanced Process Control, Process Control Team Leader, Process Control Engineer, and Graduate Engineer. David's responsibilities encompassed maintenance and expansion of advanced process control systems, leadership of a team supporting the Yarwun Alumina Refinery, and implementation of sustainable process improvements. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechatronics from The University of Queensland.
