Mr.Fernandiz brings with him 27 years of working experience in both banking and professional services, in Malaysia and the ASEAN Region. He began his career as an external auditor with Arthur Andersen.He took on a variety of roles in finance when he joined MIDF and subsequently, the Maybank Group. His most recent position prior to this appointment was as Chief Financial Officer for Group Global Banking Maybank and Maybank International.
A certified public accountant, Mr.Fernandiz is also a fellow member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountant (MICPA).
