Donald Yang

Donald Yang is a developer and designer at Alliance Care Technologies. Donald has also worked as a controls technician and student audio engineer.

Donald Yang began their career as a controls technician at the Texas Scenic Company. In this role, they assisted the Senior Controls Technician with preparing and installing parts for control panels and wiring motors for permanent theatrical equipment. Donald also assisted the Senior Control Engineer with commissioning a control system and writing anti collision software between lighting instruments and rigging equipment at Klarman Hall at Harvard Business School, and drafting control schematics for two other permanent installations.

In February 2018, Donald Yang began working as a student audio engineer for Spring Fest at the University at Buffalo Center for Arts. In this role, they were responsible for setting up and operating audio equipment for various events. Donald also helped to troubleshoot any audio problems that arose during events.

Donald Yang is currently working as a developer and designer at Alliance Care Technologies. In this role, they are responsible for developing and designing care management software for home care agencies. Donald is also responsible for training clients on how to use the software.

Donald Yang received their Master of Fine Arts in Technical Design and Production from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. Donald also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Technology B.A. and Computer ScienceMinor from the University at Buffalo. Donald is a graduate of Jamesville Dewitt High School and also completed a Global Environmental Studies Course (3 credits) with a 4.0 from the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry.
