Courtney Vickers is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in special education and inclusive practices. Currently serving as the Vice President of Diverse Learners at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools since July 2018, Courtney focuses on ensuring access to quality education for scholars with disabilities and those facing academic challenges. Previously, as Director of Inclusion and Special Education, Courtney managed the special education programming across 28 schools and collaborated with key stakeholders to drive compliance and innovative strategies. With a background as an adjunct professor at Alder Graduate School of Education and roles in various educational positions, including Director of Special Education at RePublic Schools, Courtney has consistently demonstrated a commitment to improving educational outcomes for diverse learners. Courtney holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Middle Tennessee State University.
