Alliance Community Healthcare

Alliance Community Healthcare was founded in 1963 by two African American women, an attorney and a handful of volunteers who agreed that the women and families of Jersey City needed access to safe, legal birth control. The clinic they founded operated on Saturday mornings in an Episcopal parish house with a mission to deliver continually improved, patient focused quality of care measured by practices in clinical performance and a vision to provide technologically advanced, efficient and best-in class health care and health outcomes which is open, accessible and affordable to all in our community. With more than a half-century of experience serving Hudson County families, we know that health problems never happen in isolation. Today we deliver comprehensive healthcare services to more than 19,000 patients and handle more than 58,000 outpatient visits annually. From two Jersey City locations, we offer primary care, women’s health, family care, dental services, pediatrics, and more. We also function as a referral agency for the diverse range of social, educational, nutrition and mental health concerns that impact our patients’ health. Stress, lack of income, poor nutrition, environmental factors, and the emotional trauma homelessness or foster care, play a critical role in your physical health. That’s why all the healthcare services we offer are “patient-centered” and individualized to your personal circumstances. Our diverse medical staff reflects the racial and cultural makeup of the community we serve, and more than 12 languages spoken at our Centers (collectively). We get great satisfaction in communicating with our patients in a way that builds trust, improves compliance and achieves more effective treatment plans. That’s why we entered the healthcare field in the first place. We hope you entrust us with your care.
