Allen Gerten

Executive Vice President - Commercialization at Alliance Consumer Group

Allen Gerten has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Allen started their career at Procter & Gamble, where they worked as a Senior Scientist/Engineer in Baby Care New Business Development. In 2003, they joined General Mills and served as an Associate Marketing Manager before being promoted to Senior Marketing Manager.

In 2014, Allen transitioned to Best Buy, where they worked as a Senior Director, leading marketing, operations, and IT teams to develop business initiatives targeting new consumer segments. Allen was responsible for strategy, digital marketing, P&L management, and multi-channel product development.

Following their tenure at Best Buy, Allen joined Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP in 2015 as the Vice President of Marketing. After a year, they moved to Plano Synergy as the Vice President of Brand Management, overseeing the Fishing, Storage & Lifestyle Division. This division got acquired by Pure Fishing in April 2021, and Allen continued as the Senior Vice President, where they managed the Fishing, Consumer Storage, and Lifestyle portfolio, including P&L responsibility, marketing & brand strategy, and new product strategy.

In 2022, Allen took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Echelon Fitness Multimedia, LLC. However, their tenure ended in January 2023. Currently, they are working for Alliance Consumer Group as the SVP - Brand & Product, a position that they have held since February 2023.

Allen Gerten received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 1993 to 1997. Allen furthered their education by obtaining an MBA in Marketing from the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2002 to 2004.
