Gary Smith

Gary Smith is the president and founder of Iron Forums, a Christian business owner’s forum, that is a 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Atlanta. Iron Forums is for men who own businesses or lead organizations that want to focus on three critical areas – to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus, to be the spiritual leaders of their families, and to lead their organizations with biblical best practices. These men form both local community forums that meet monthly and virtual communities organized by time zones.

Prior to his work at Iron Forums, Gary was the founder and CEO of Transform Technologies, the holding company for The Transform Group, Brainstorm Promotions, and Palm 1 Medical. These brands served over 6,000 clients across the country with a variety of business products, services, and technology. He sold this company in 2018.

Gary and his wife Margaret were part of the first ADF Ambassadors group in 2003 and have been involved with ADF since 1994 when they first met Alan Sears at a Fellowship of Companies for Christ conference, the same year ADF was founded.

The Smiths have been summer hosts for Blackstone fellows in the Atlanta area, attended local ADF court cases, and have led different fundraising efforts over the past fifteen years. They continue to be involved with the expanding Ambassador program and local ADF events.

Gary attended North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill for business school.
