Skutch Montgomery

Skutch Montgomery has a diverse work experience in the field of sales, project management, and energy efficiency. They have worked as a Director of Sales and Estimating at Alliance Exterior Construction since July 2023. Prior to that, they were a Lead Estimator and Project Manager at the same company, starting in April 2020. Before joining Alliance Exterior Construction, Skutch worked at Unicorp Home Energy Services as an Energy Consultant, focusing on sales and estimation for energy-efficient home improvements. Skutch also has experience at Elysian Energy, where they served as a Multifamily Project Manager and Energy Coach, as well as an Energy Ambassador responsible for outreach and residential energy assessments. They started their career as a Visitor Ambassador and Volunteer Exhibit Guide at the National Aquarium, where they promoted habitat conservation and facilitated visitor-animal interaction.

Skutch Montgomery attended the University of Maryland from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy. In 2015, they also briefly studied City and Citizen Engagement in the Digital Age at the University of Glasgow. Additionally, Skutch has received certifications such as OSHA30 from the OSHA Safety Training Institute and BPI Building Analyst from the USGBC National Capital Region.
