Alliance For A Better Minnesota
Emma Piorier serves as the Director of Communications at Alliance For A Better Minnesota since January 2022, where responsibilities include creating strategic communication plans to advance media narratives on various issues and campaigns. Previous experience includes roles as a Congressional Fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives and as a fellow for Running Start, focusing on women's political empowerment. Emma also founded The Girl House Project, aimed at addressing girlhood and sexual injustice, and co-founded the Girl Ultimate Players Initiative to promote gender justice in sports. Additional roles include internships at NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota and as a campaign manager for Chris Tolbert for City Council. Emma holds a Bachelor's degree in Gender and Queer Studies and African American Studies from the University of Puget Sound.

Alliance for a Better Minnesota (ABM) is one of the most effective political communications groups in Minnesota and is held up as a national model for other state organizations. ABM is a nonprofit organization that serves the progressive community of the state as a communications hub. We aggressively hold elected officials and organizations accountable, driving narratives to expose the truth about who is looking out for Minnesotans. And we engage with and educate Minnesotans about the harmful effects of certain policies, elected officials, and organizations on their quality of life using innovative, cutting-edge media techniques.
