Marissa Luna is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Executive Director at Alliance For A Better MN since June 2019, after holding the position of Deputy Director. Previously, Marissa was Communications Director at Alliance for a Better Minnesota from March 2017 to June 2019, where management of a team focused on progressive advocacy was key. Prior experience includes roles as Communications Specialist at Progress Michigan and Deputy Communications Director at Engage Michigan, both dedicated to promoting progressive ideas and holding public officials accountable. Marissa began a career in communications as Office Manager and then Communications Coordinator at Clean Water Action, as well as a Program Intern and Student Caller at Michigan State University's MSU Greenline. Marissa holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Comparative Cultures and Politics from Michigan State University.

We aggressively hold elected officials and organizations accountable, driving narratives to expose the truth about who is looking out for Minnesotans. And we engage with and educate Minnesotans about the harmful effects of certain policies, elected officials, and organizations on their quality of life using innovative, cutting-edge media techniques.
