Alliance for African Assistance
Sendy Medina is an experienced interpreter with a diverse background in various fields, including performing arts, medical settings, and education. Current roles include serving as a trilingual performing arts interpreter at LotuSIGN LLC since 2016, and as a Spanish interpreter for the Alliance for African Assistance since 2014. Sendy has worked as an American Sign Language interpreter at the San Diego Community College District and a private practice, providing interpretation in educational, religious, medical, and community events. Previous experience also includes roles at Purple Communications, California Coastal Commission, Grossmont College, and Chula Vista Elementary School District. Education includes a Master's degree in Interpreting Studies Communication Equity from St. Catherine University, along with several relevant certifications and specialized training.
