Alliance for Children's Rights
Courtney Lundgren serves as the Volunteer Outreach Coordinator at Alliance for Children's Rights, where responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and managing both year-round and seasonal intern and volunteer programs while maintaining detailed records for over 350 annual volunteers and pro bono attorneys. Prior experience includes roles as a Payroll Representative and Jr Payroll Representative at ModernHR, Inc., where Courtney processed payroll for over 1,000 employees and responded to payroll inquiries, as well as an Intake Intern at Alliance for Children's Rights, conducting client interviews and assessing legal needs. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCLA and an Associate of Arts in Sociology from Glendale Community College. Additional experience includes leadership in the UCLA Undergraduate Students Association Council, a research role at UCLA, and various positions in customer service and legal services.
Alliance for Children's Rights
The Alliance for Children’s Rights is a nonprofit legal services organization that protects the rights of impoverished, abused and neglected children in Los Angeles County. We advocate for healthcare, education and financial support for families created by adoption, foster care and guardianship. We also address the needs of foster youth leaving care without a permanent family. Whenever possible, we remedy system wide issues through policy reform. Our clients include children in foster care, runaway and emancipating youth, and relative and non-relative caregivers. With the help of pro bono attorneys, we have assisted 125,000 families to achieve safe, stable homes, healthcare and the education children need to succeed in school and in life.
