David Lee is an experienced project and risk management professional with expertise in formulating risk management policies, implementing business continuity plans, and optimizing project management practices. Currently serving as Project Manager and Senior Manager for Risk Management at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) since January 2017, David has successfully established governance frameworks, monitored funding statuses, and led the development of the Project Management Office at various organizations, including Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and UNDP. David's career spans roles in both technical and managerial capacities, showcasing a strong background in environmental projects and sustainable management practices across Asia-Pacific. David holds an MSc in Environment & Development from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Resource Biology from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak.
