Luis Trevino is a seasoned financial expert with extensive experience in financial inclusion, currently serving as a Senior Policy Manager at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion since May 2017. Previously, Luis held significant roles at the World Bank Group, including Senior Financial Sector Specialist and Consultant, focusing on financial inclusion development. At the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (CNBV), Luis was the Deputy General Director for Access to Finance, leading a financial inclusion measurement project, and earlier served as the Director for Access to Financial Services. Luis's career began at Banco de México, where valuable contributions were made as a Senior Economist and Economist. An alumnus of prestigious institutions, Luis holds a Master's in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has pursued advanced training in financial supervision, leadership, and data strategy. Additionally, Luis is active in public speaking and leadership development through Toastmasters International.
