Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay
Patti Owens Bohnsack has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Purdue University. Over the years, Patti has held various roles such as Executive Director at Kidscommons Children's Museum, Director of Programs at Foundation For Youth, and Director of Children's Programs at Catholic Social Services. Patti has also worked as a Project Manager at Kiwanis International and as a Director of Special Events at the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. Currently, Patti is working at the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay as a Capacity Building Projects Assistant and Local Government Initiatives Team Assistant, where Patti focuses on logistics and event planning to bring people together for the health and restoration of the Chesapeake Bay.

For the last 50 years, the Alliance has worked to bring together communities, companies, and conservationists to improve the lands and waters of the Chesapeake Bay. We seek to work upstream, to prevent pollution from where it starts. We believe in collaboration, inclusivity, and action-oriented progress based on science. Our vision is for clean streams and rivers flowing through resilient landscapes, cared for by the 18+ million people who live, work, and play in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
