Joel Brammeier

Joel Brammeier is the current President & CEO at Alliance for the Great Lakes. Prior to this role, Brammeier served as the Vice President for Policy at the same organization from 2005 to 2009. Before that, Joel worked as the Manager of Habitat Program at Lake Michigan Federation from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, Joel has experience as a New Media Specialist at American Medical Association from 1999 to 2000. Brammeier holds a M.S. in Natural Resource Management from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Biology and Humanities from Valparaiso University. Joel also completed the Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2019.
