Wendy Deacon, LCMHCS, has extensive experience in the mental health field, currently serving as the Director of UM Program Management at Alliance Health since October 2014. Wendy's career includes roles such as Utilization Management Clinical Program Manager, Utilization Management Supervisor – Behavioral Health, and Utilization Management Care Manager MHSUD at the same organization. Prior to Alliance Health, Wendy worked at Health Net as a Military Family Life Counselor and at Strategic Behavioral Health as Director of Admissions. Wendy has held positions at Sandhills Center as CM/UM Director and was the Owner and Licensed Professional Counselor at H.O.P.E. Counseling. Additional experience includes serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Growing Child Pediatrics and as Director of Appeals at ValueOptions, Inc. Wendy holds a Master of Arts in Community Health Services/Liaison/Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from PennWest Edinboro.
